Kathleen Laird is a Victoria-based horticulturalist who has been providing design, consulting and educational programs to Victoria residents, businesses and non-profit organizations for over 15 years.
Kathleen has a degree in geography from the University of British Columbia and is educated in landscape design and horticultural therapy. Her previous experience in horticulture therapy brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to the creation of new gardens. Key to her long-term success is flexibility - providing everything from modern to classic landscaping styles to one-on-one mentoring, garden renovation and seasonal consultation.
A strong believer in community, Kathleen volunteers her landscaping expertise with a number of non-profit organizations. She has continued to further her horticultural education through master classes and work with peer associations in Japan, India, Israel and Canada. Kathleen has also served as chair of the Canadian Horticultural Therapy Association (BC Chapter) and currently a Director with the South Jubilee Neighborhood Association.
